The last triathlon of the season (in our latitude) always takes place in Locarno. The somewhat different triathlon, the middle distance he has what it has in itself. It is the Tri, with the charm of Ticino. I love him because he is a little different: swimming distance of 3km in the Lago Maggiore, cycling 80km between mountains, rocks and palm trees, running 20km in the sunny part of Switzerland
Locarno we come! This time, no doubt a bit tired competition. After so many starts this season, I feel that the middle distance of Locarno, finishing not be so loose.
Great weather, calm morning, his legs still full of power, voltage, many expectations. Humor and a tingling feeling indescribable, yes it is triathlon as I love him.
a bang, the go-ahead. Here we go. In the Lago Maggiore with the morning sun I glide along the yellow floating buoys. In conscious that I am twice this round swimming, I Basilea now advance again.
The swim was a bit tougher than usual, after a few hundred meters I swam my
rhythm, fought me by waves and currents along the goal.
Off to the transition area. Get out of the Neo. Yes, I always let me some time ;-) But now away with the wheel of Locarno and in the Ticino Natural
Passing the Fan Zone, and then I slid the 80km through the Ticino landscape through.
slide is yes then a bit exaggerated, but the wind slowed me out so hard I thought non-stop to drive uphill. But it was great but 80 km. Ticino has undeniable charm. In competition, I always lose track of time. Hardly on the wheel, already I find myself in the middle of the run.
