What Do I Do University Mount Sims 2 Deluxe
refurbishment of Anna Church 2003-2004
"I heard Anna Church of the most beautiful baroque churches," with such words and similar praise the art historians of our day the Church of St. Anna. It impressed the single features, it fits the modest size, it convinced the continuous harmony of colors and figures.
The names of the artists working here see the quality of this church: Daniel Gran (1694 - 1757) created three ceiling frescoes, altar paintings and frescoes Francis Xavier in the chapel, there laid down and Child with Veit Stoss is attributed to the side altar paintings are from the Kremser Schmidt, Christoph exchange is responsible for interior design.
When was an Anna Church? The first church was dedicated to 1518th 1573 received the Jesuits. The church was built 1632 - rebuilt in 1633 and on 20 November 1633 in the presence of Emperor Ferdinand II was inaugurated. (- 1731 1673) the whole church refurbished in 1716 under the direction of Christoph exchange was SJ.
On 25 June 1747 burned down by lightning, the tower and roof of the church. The vaults were, the roof was made hastily. It's amazing, even on 26 July 1747 could be the Annafest in the presence of Empress Maria Theresa, celebrated in the church.
was renovated in 1751, the blackened interior of the church. Le Grand, it was called then Daniel Gran, took over the frescoes.
Grans frescoes were allowed to renew in 1840 by Franz Geyling in darker colors. In 1897 the Oblates of St. have. Francis de Sales church services in the church over Anna, 1906, the wafers were also the right to property. The restoration of 1969/70 Geylingsche removed the paint over. Restorer was the painter Gustav Kramer, the gilding worried Campitell Fri.
The indicated dates are based on the report by Richard Perger, the history and equipment of Anne's Church in Vienna I, in: Austrian Journal for Art and Historic Preservation, XL/86, page 8 - 19 Perger based on "Litterae annua provinciae Austriae Societatis Jesu", the annual reports of the Austrian Jesuit provincials to the Father General in Rome, Österr. National Library.
